Original cloth spine and upper bound in at rear. Textblock very slightly toned but clean throughout, cloth bound in at the rear toned and worn. A fine copy in a handsome leather binding. A collection of short stories notable for the first book appearance of the story Philomel Cottage which was turned into a highly successful play, two feature films and was also televised twice in the UK. Interestingly, the story The Rajah's Emerald, page 211, features a young detective named James Bond! Item #60908
