Original cloth spine and upper bound in at rear. Internally clean and bright. A fine copy in a handsome leather binding. Poirot's final mystery, actually written during the war and kept aside as a legacy for Christie's daughter, but publishers finally persuaded the author to release the book during her lifetime as the final word on her great character. Here, Captain Hastings persuades his now elderly friend to solve one last case, fittingly at Styles (the location for his debut), which has fallen on hard times and is now a hotel. Item #60801
