Publisher's grey cloth with gilt titles to spine. With the photographic dust-jacket, priced at £12.95. A few small marks and bumps to binding and jacket. Jacket spine slightly sunned. Near fine. Having accompanied her husband John Baily on a research trip to Herat in the mid 1970's, Veronica Doubleday took the veil in order to participate in local female society.
