Contemporary full speckled and panelled morocco, untitled to binding, with all edges speckled red. An eighteenth-century library inscription to front pastedown. Bookplate of the library of the Church of St Mary of the Angels, in Bayswater, London, to front fly-leaf. Curiously misbound, with part of the index bound into the middle of the dedication, and the balance at the end of the volume where it belongs. Some worming to lower right corner of text block, not affecting text; otherwise internally clean. Moderate wear to binding. Joints starting, with loss to head-cap, and head-band coming loose but still present. Very good. Item #59485
