With the plain dust-jacket, priced at 3/6 for paper, or 5s for cloth. A small blue ink gift inscription to fly-leaf. Quite heavy spotting and offsetting to endpapers and facing leaves. Jacket quite heavily toned, with rubbing and browning to spine, and some chipping and wear to edges. Very good. A play based on the life of the famous nineteenth-century nurse, Florence Nightingale, by the Liberal politician and Hollywood screenwriter. Item #59454
