A Picture History of the Motor Car. A Sundays Times Book Publication, complete in 20 volumes.

London: The Sundays Times, 1961. [Automotive History] COMPLETE SERIES. 20 small booklets (9 x 9cm), each containing a series of colour illustrations and short descriptions of automotive vehicles (not including trains), from the Cugnot of 1770, right to the time of publication, totalling nearly 600 individual profiles. All in matching colour-illustrated thick card covers, priced at 2/6 each. Presented in a custom-made green cloth-covered and fleece-lined slipcase, with ribbon-pulls. Light handling, including some inevitable creasing and rubbing to spines. A charming collection. Very good. Olyslager worked as a mechanic for Bugatti in the Netherlands before the Second World War, and later worked for himself as a designer of sports cars and a publisher, building up a formidable collection of automotive drawings and literature.
