Publisher's blue cloth with silver titles to spine, and sketch-maps to endpapers. With the dust-jacket illustrated by Stein. Miss Cond's usual exemplary condition, with some toning to edges and endpapers. Jacket price-clipped and a little rubbed to edges. Near fine. An 'a day in the life of' novel, featuring a series of ordinary characters caught up in extraordinary circumstances. Well-known as a prominent collector of modern firsts, Miss Cond was also a correspondent of Ian Fleming, and the first Secretary to the James Bond Fan Club.
