With the black and white illustrated dust-jacket, titled in orange and priced at 16s. Possibly a later issue jacket. Light toning and spotting to edges and endpapers. Jacket heavily rubbed and chipped to edges, with additional creasing and closed tears, and a little sunning to spine. Very good. The extraordinary life-story of one of the legendary socialites of the roaring 20's and 30's, who started out on her journey across Europe by running away with Gipsies at the age of six from her aristocratic home in Subotica, Serbia, and ended up running a millinery business in Mayfair.
