Contemporary navy full calf by RELFE BROS of London, with gilt titles to red label and further gilt decoration to spine. All edges and endpapers marbled. Prize plate to front pastedown, dated 1882. Top and fore edges faded. Moderate rubbing and bumping to binding, with some toning to spine. Very good. Short biographies of Bach, Handel, Gluck, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Spohr, Weber, Rossini, Schubert, Mendelssohn, and Schumann. Item #58459
