Contemporary tan half calf with gilt titles to contrasting red and green labels, further gilt decoration to spines, and marbled paper over boards. All edges and endpapers marbled. Light toning throughout, with very occasional light spotting. Upper hinge weak to Old Curiosity Shop / A Tale of Two Cities. Moderate rubbing and bumping to bindings, showing very well. Very good. Featuring all of Dickens' complete novels, as well as 'Pictures from Italy,' 'American Notes' and 'The Uncommerical Traveller,' but not including 'A Child's History of England' or 'The Mystery of Edwin Drood.'.
