With the plain yellow dust-jacket, priced at 25s. Title page has been cancelled and replaced with a first impression title page. Foyles label to front pastedown. Jacket (stating 'second impression' to flap) lacks the photographic image on the first impression. Toning and rubbing to jacket spine and edges, with a few marks. Very good. Originally published in the USA in 1947, and then in India in 1949. This is an expanded edition (first published in the USA in 1951) with the original Chinese characters and a new introduction by Fang. Item #58127
