London: Hulton Press, 1953. [Coronation Peep-Show] ORIGINAL FOLD-OUT PEEP-SHOW. Octavo (21 x 19cm), pp.32. A seven-layered colour-illustrated concertina peep-show, designed to be viewed from both directions, depicting the coronation ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II in Westminster Abbey in 1953. Contained within coloured card covers, all illustrated by Smith, with a booklet describing the ceremony by cook attached to the rear cover. Stapled twice. Covers are worn to edges with some thumbing, but still bright. The peep-show has been fully constructed as per the instructions, but has seen little use and remains quite crisp. Very good.
