Fore-edge untrimmed; patterned endpapers. Map has a couple of small tears to folds; slightly misfolded and returned to correct configuration. Spotting to endpapers and preliminaries, with occasional further spotting throughout. Chipping and rubbing to margins of plate facing p.90. Bookseller's label to rear pastedown. Fairly light wear to cloth; spine toned. Very good. A Highland adventure set in the aftermath of the 1745 Jacobite rising, first published in 1886. Item #57503
