Text printed in two columns. Contemporary red full morocco, with raised bands, gilt titles and decoration to spine, and gilt symbols of Parliament (crowned portcullis and crowned Tudor Rose) to both spine and boards. All edges gilt; yellow-coated endpapers. Neat black ink ownership to final blank before frontispiece, dated 1854. Some spotting to endpapers; hinges split but holding firmly. Very heavy spotting to frontispiece and vignette title page, with some lighter spotting to facing pages. Fairly light wear to binding, with some recolouring to joints and scratching to lower board. Tail band slightly proud of tail cap, causing some splitting to joints. An attractive copy. Very good. Item #57334
