The Booze Book. John ASTROP, Eric HILL, illustrators, June DUTTON, Edith VANOCUR.

The Booze Book.

San Francisco, CA: Determined Productions, 1967. [Cocktail Book] FIRST EDITION. Square octavo (15 x 15cm), pp.68. Illustrated in colour throughout by Astrop and Hill. Publisher's colour-illustrated paper-covered boards, and black endpapers. With the matching dust-jacket, not priced. Rubbing and bumping to head and tail of spine, and to corners. Jacket rubbed, chipped and creased to edges, with larger losses to head and tail of spine. Very good. A charming little cocktail book by the wives of Fred Dutton (Democratic Party spin-doctor) and Sander Vanocur (NBC national political correspondent), who were both based in Washington, D.C. at the time. The book was produced by June's sister, who she went to work with around this time after separating from her husband. She went on to become Editor in Chief at Determined Productions, and produced her own children's and cookery books. Item #56882
