Item #56592 Double Exposure. Donald MACKENZIE.

Double Exposure.

London: Published for the Crime Club by Collins, 1963. [Crime Thriller] FIRST EDITION. Octavo (19 x 13cm), pp.192. Publisher's red cloth with black titles to spine. With the black and yellow dust-jacket, priced at 12/6. Blue ink ownership to flyleaf. Some light offsetting to endpapers and browning to edges. Jacket rubbed and chipped to edges, with some loss to head and tail of spine. Very good. Originally a career criminal himself, MacKenzie is unusual amongst crime-writers for making many of his protagonists criminals, rather than detectives. In this story, a convict named Hendry is offered release from prison in exchange for his services as a safe-cracker. Item #56592
