Publisher's tan paper covered boards with titles in dark brown, rebacked with remains of the original spine laid over. W.H. Smith blind stamp and recent bookseller's ticket to flyleaf. Light spotting to endpaper. Title page browned, with some light occasional soiling to leaves. Heavy rubbing to board edges, especially corners. Boards generally quite heavily toned and worn. New spine carefully coloured to match, with most of the original title and spine decoration intact. Very good. Includes 'The Canterville Ghost.' 2000 copies of this edition were printed, of which only 1500 were for sale in the UK. Item #56554
