London: the friends of T. E. Lawrence, no date [circa 1936]. ORIGINAL PAMPHLET. Single page folded (19 x 11cm), with title to front cover and text inside. A couple of tiny marks to rear else fine. A pamphlet describing the actions required to ensure a memorial to Lawrence be erected in St. Paul's Cathedral; that his cottage at Clouds Hill be transferred to the National Trust; and that any monies remaining after these exploits be dedicated to other forms of memorialising Lawrence, including some 'which would be helpful to young people'. This decree of intent is notarised by 'the undersigned friends of Lawrence' who in this case include Churchill, Allenby, Augustus John and George Bernard Shaw, amongst others. Item #56532
