No place, No date [1900-1904]. [Album] FINE ORIGINAL DRAWINGS AND PAINTINGS. Oblong octavo (17 x 21cm), with 60 leaves of various grades, hues and thickness. Quotations, paintings and drawings very finely applied to 13 leaves, variously dated between 1900 and 1904. Quotations, including Thackeray, Tennyson and Shakespeare, copied in black ink in various fine copperplate hands. Landscape and still-life paintings in water-colour to three leaves, and ink sketches to four leaves, three accompanying a quotation. Attractive album bound by Rock Bros of London in red full padded morocco, with 'Album' stamped in gilt to upper, all edges gilt, and floral patterned endpapers. Some light wear to binding. Near fine.
