Discreet ownership (1887), contents clean, edges a little toned, cloth rubbed and flecked, some marks/discolour to covers, neatly recased. Very good. 'The Descent of Man' is the naturalist author's second book on evolutionary theory following the 1859 landmark 'Origin of Species', and is concerned with outlining the application of Darwin's theory to human evolution, and detailing the theory of sexual selection.
