"There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written. "
— Oscar Wilde

London: Beat Publications, 1964. [Illustrated] FIRST EDITION. Original white paper-covered boards, printed in black. Duodecimo, (19 x 13cm) pp.[32]. With colour illustrations. Shows some handling and bumping to corners. Some losses to head and tail of spine. Very good. A decent copy of a particularly elusive book (not to be confused with the 1991 facsimile which was issued in a CD boxset, identical to this first edition but for the imprint amended from 'Beat' to 'UFO'). Rolling Stones' drummer and Jazz aficionado Charlie Watts' charming tribute to his hero, saxophonist Charlie 'Yardbird' Parker, which takes the form of an illustrated poem. Item #55795
