Contemporary brown calf with single gilt borders to boards, recently rebacked in brown calf, modern grey endpapers, edges speckled red. Some spotting to first and last leaves but generally very clean and bright, some annotation to the prefatory remarks, top edge a little darkened. Binding rubbed and a little worn, more so to corners.
