Plain bookplate of Michael Van Grutten to front pastedown, and his black ink ownership to half-title, dated 1905. Light rubbing to cloth with a couple of small scratches to lower board. Very good. A dwarf-wizard-king admonishes a family of Scrooge-like characters in a vaguely Alpine setting. Originally written in 1841, and first published in 1851. Item #54887
