Publisher's mid blue cloth covers with gilt titles and decoration to front and spine. Numerous black and white illustrations within. Internally fine, some light spotting and damp marking to the edges not affecting the pages inside. Offset toning and some indentation affecting the rear free endpapers from a couple of pressed dried leaves, now absent. Binding a little rubbed to extremities and to the gilt medallions. A much brighter copy than often found. Near fine. The rare companion volume to The Goudhurst Jubilee Book published in 1935. Item #54805
