Brighton bookseller's label to front pastedown. Some bumping to corners. Light toning and rubbing, with some minor re-colouring to spine. Very good. Tales of an extravagant hunting trip to Namibia by the Swedish naturalist and hunter, filled with anecdotes about encounters with big game, such as elephants and lions. Describing Africa as 'that repulsive and least accessible quarter of the globe,' Andersson gallantly personifies the caricature of the nineteenth century European traveller. Item #54240
