Illustrated with twelve plates. Some offsetting to endpapers and two a couple of pages from a loosely inserted newspaper clipping. Some dustiness to top edge. Wrapper shows very well, some slight creasing to top edge, some slight marks and a couple of small closed tears. Near fine. Marson was born and bred in Leicestershire, he saw service in the South African war and the Great War, disabled at Gallipoli he transferred to the Royal Flying Corps, he later saw service in the Second World War retiring with the rank of Air Vice-Marshal.
