Broccoli's Eon Productions. Approximate dimensions 30 x 20 inches. Artwork by Robert E. McGinnis (born 1926). Folded. Fine condition (Poster Grade 'A'). Will be despatched rolled, in a substantial card tube. A particularly scarce and desirable teaser poster [a linen backed example made £1750, Christies, 2012]. Note on Format; the 'double-crown' is a portrait [vertical] view poster, measuring approx. 30 x 20 inches, and being half the size of the quad-crown poster, commonly referred to as the 'quad'. Double crowns were issued for Bond films up to and including The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), comprise minimal artwork and were often used to adorn the rounded corners of London's famous Routemaster (double-decker) buses.
