One of around 3000 copies reserved for the Canadian market, issued in March 1915 shortly after the US publication, but still well before the UK release in June. The fourth and final full-length Sherlock Holmes novel, being a retrospective or 'flashback' adventure set in Pennsylvania, 1888. 'The Valley of Fear' is also notable for the involvement of Holmes' arch-nemesis Professor Moriarty. Item #53348
