Minor edgewear, foot of spine a little frayed, nominal spotting else a lovely fine copy of the book, in used wrapper with circular hole cut from spine (toned to cloth beneath), sizeable chip to crown, a few other smaller chips and tears and a small tape strip to reverse. Remains presentable, being rather uncommon in wrapper. Twelve short cases for the consulting detective, published in Britain as 'Parker Pyne Investigates'. One adventure is entitled 'Death On The Nile', later adapted as a full-length novel with Hercule Poirot replacing Parker Pyne. Item #53130
