In a fine prize binding for Harrow School. Slightly later full green calf with gilt titles and decoration to spine, and a gilt armorial crest and motto to the upper board. Marbled endpapers; all edges gilt. Armorial bookplate of the Edmond Bray family to front pastedown, dated 1899. Spine sunned with some light markings to upper board, otherwise near fine. A tale of the English Civil War inspired by the legend of the Good Devil of Woodstock. Item #53076
