Studio Yuki, 1986. Original pencil drawing with colour accent on lightweight paper, titled, signed and dated by Diana's dress designer Yuki. Loose on acid-neutral card, with elegant contrasting mount, glazed and archivally framed. Overall dimensions 55 x 42 cm. One of the original concept sketches by the designer Yuki for the dress which Diana, Princess of Wales wore during a dinner hosted by Emperor Hirohito at the Imperial Palace as the culmination of the visit of the Prince and Princess of Wales in May 1986. The dress was later auctioned at Christie's New York in June 1997 in a fund-raising auction on behalf of AIDS Crisis Trust and The Royal Marsden Hospital Cancer Fund. Item #52795
