Publisher's blue cloth, simply titled in gilt to spine and upper. Illustrated with a frontispiece and fifteen further plates by Paget. Half-title foxed, some light occasional spotting within else internally clean. Cloth has some rubbing and wear, small nicks,small tear to rear joint, now carefully recased with coated blue endpapers. Shows well. A relatively inexpensive copy of this classic crime collection. A Park Lane mystery- the murder of the Honourable Ronald Adair- brings Sherlock Holmes back to life and the search for the second most dangerous man in London.
