With a frontispiece wood engraving of the stones, repeated occasionally within the text. Publisher's brown paper covers with titles to front. Lightly browned with some spotting. Some loss to edge of frontispiece, not affecting engravings. Spine heavily worn and split, with some losses; loss also to bottom corner of front cover.
