Finely bound in black half calf with gilt titles and decoration to spine, and black cloth over boards. All edges gilt. Some browning and spotting around plates. Binding very lightly handled. Very good. Considered the 'Grandfather of Surrealism', Grandville inspired many later masters of the genre, including Lewis Carroll, Max Ernst and Ralph Steadman. Item #51783
