Internally bright and clean, neat gift inscription to flyleaf, minor toning to lower edge of textblock, small signs of wear to edges of board otherwise binding in good condition. Kipling was born in India, which inspired much of his work and was one of the most popular writers in the British Empire. He also wrote The Jungle Book and The Man Who Would Be King. Item #51773
