Beautifully bound by Bayntun for Lauriat Booksellers in tan half calf over marbled boards, gilt titles on contrasting morocco squares and extra gilt to spines, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers. All volumes bar volume VIII with a frontispiece plus occasional illustrations. Bookplate of T. Zurbrugg to pastedown of each volume. Textblocks marginally toned. Bindings lightly rubbed to extremities, a few corners slightly bumped. A very handsome presentation of Prescott's works in a pleasingly aged contemporary binding. Near fine. Item #51510
