Published to accompany a major retrospective of photographs taken by Mayne on Southam Street between 1956 and 1961. Mayne documented late fifties London and his evocative images were used for various dust-jackets, notably Absolute Beginners by Colin MacInnes and The Lore and Language of Schoolchildren by Iona and Peter Opie.
