Publisher's blue paper covered boards, blue titles on paper label to spine, photographic dust-jacket, cartographic endpapers. Thirty-five photographic illustrations over twenty-four plates. Moderate spotting to preliminaries and edges, sporadically to the body of the text. Spine and edges of boards a touch discoloured. Price clipped dust-jacket shows well; creased and chipped to top and bottom edges, a number of small closed tears, rubbing to folds, tape burn to reverse at spine tips which has slightly ghosted through, some marking. Rare in dust-jacket. Very good. A record of the first civilian flight from London to Delhi undertaken by Sir Samuel and Lady Maud Hoare during his time as Secretary of State for Air. Item #51214
