Publisher's blue blind stamped cloth, gilt titles of black squares to spines, top edges tinted blue, blue endpapers. Profusely illustrated with half tone plates and a number of in-text line drawings. Textblock nice and clean, just the occasional faint mark, top edge tint faded. Neat tape repair to verso of one plate in volume two. Binding lightly rubbed to extremities, boards slightly bowed, a few marks to boards. Very good. Item #50858
