Not including the October issue, which did not contain a Detective's Casebook story. Each in publisher's light blue paper wrappers with distinctive 'Strand' street scene printed in darker blue. Illustrated with in-text wood engravings, as well as photogravure reproductions and lithographs. Presented in a blue quarter morocco clamshell box with raised bands, gilt titles to spine and blue cloth boards. Occasional repairs with archival tape. Light wear and thumbing externally, some chipping to spines. Clamshell box lightly sunned. Very good. Four short stories featuring Muddock's popular detective Dick Donovan. Also featuring an English translation of Guy de Maupassant's 'The Prisoners'; 'A Day with Dr. Conan Doyle'; and an English translation of Dumas' 'Marceau's Prisoner'. Item #50847
