With eight steel engraved plates including a frontispiece portrait of the author, and an illustrated title page. Contemporary red full morocco with raised bands, gilt titles to spine and elaborate gilt decoration to spine and boards. All edges gilt. Light spotting to plates. Armorial bookplate of Lynch White to front pastedown. Binding shows very well with just some very light rubbing to extremities. Very good. Item #50720
