With a lithographic illustrated title page, and a chromolithographic frontispiece. Publisher's blind-decorated brown cloth with gilt titles to upper board. All edges untrimmed. Reading lean; some weakness to binding at the frontispiece. Pencil gift inscription to rear pastedown, dated 1947. Cloth a little rubbed and worn, bumped to corners, some loss to spine ends.
