Publisher's brown blind-decorated cloth with gilt titles to spine and gilt bust of the author to upper board. All edges red. Armorial bookplate to front pastedown, with accompanying ownership inscription date 1868. Spotting to preliminaries. Spine head frayed, with a small split along to top inch or so of the upper joint, cloth rubbed to extremities with a few small marks. Good.
