Elegantly hand-bound in half red oasis morocco leather over original cloth sides gilt with elephant medalion to upper, top edge gilt, spine gilt-lettered in six compartments with raised bands. A few light marks within; externally fine. An attractive copy of Kipling's famous tales about adolescent boys at a British boarding school, complete with amateur skullduggery and a fair amount of giddy jesting, japery and your run of the mill sadistic bullying that obviously served to make the British Empire great; throw them to the Jesuits I say.
