Illustrated throughout with wood engravings after the Old Masters by John Jackson (1801-1848), a student of Thomas Bewick. Contemporary full morocco with gilt titles and decoration to spine, and elaborate gilt panel decoration to boards, all edges gilt. Spotting to preliminaries.
