Finely bound circa 1920s by Roger de Coverley in half mid-blue crushed morocco, gilt, over marbled sides with marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Internally clean but for a few minor marks to first and final leaves, some inoffensive discolouring to spines. near fine. The 1882 edition is the final complete works of Miss Austen to be published by Bentley, who were bought up by Smith Elder in 1898; an important printing. Item #49948
