With twenty six copper engraved plates, including a hand-coloured county map and one further hand-coloured plate. Blue ink ownership inscriptions of Mr. Wade Porteous, a notable book collector and descendant of the Abolitionist Bishop Beilby Porteus, to front pastedown and title page. Neatly rebacked using the original marbled boards, and pink endpapers, new brown calf spine with gilt titles. Some occasional light spotting andsporadic marginalia, some toning around plates. Bindings rubbed to board edges, especially so to the corners, some scuffs to the boards. Very good. Item #49314
