Contains the first appearance of the opening chapters of Pearson's 'Life of Ian Fleming' biography, which was published simultaneously. This serial form has an additional long chapter on Pearson, plus a different choice of photographs, a change of title, and a striking poster cover of Fleming sitting in the famous 'Moonraker' Bentley. This was one of the defining images of the author, and one of the most famous 'Life' magazine covers of the sixties. Item #48434
