Paris: Editions Casterman. Printed in Belguim, [c.1954]. Quarto. Bound in publisher's original pictorial paper-covered boards with yellow cloth spine; dark blue pictorial endpapers, strips printed in colour. The upper board shows a levitating and spinning chair; rear board shows various characters from the Tintin books, and lists other publications, the 'Tintin et Milou' section ending with On a Marche sur La Lune, dating this to 1954. Internally clean, discreet single name 'Hart' to corner of copyright page, extremities rubbed, some wear to corners. Shows well. Another adventure for Tintin and his excentric companions; the action hinges around the abduction of Professor Calculus, and the exploits encountered by Tintin, Snowy and Captain Haddock as they attempt to rescue their friend. This is an early printing in the original language. Item #46934
