Internally very clean with a few minor marks to the binding. Near fine. A scarce item. This short Holmes play premiered at the Bristol Hippodrome, 2nd May 1921, and was stage at the London Coliseum two weeks later. Doyle developed it as a short story, "The Adventure of the Mazarin Stone", which included in the Strand Magazine that October. The text of the original drama remained unpublished until this slight volume was produced for The Baker Street Irregulars, issued 'for private circulation and without commercial intent'. Item #46530
